Suite” (left) vacation home have large picture windows to enjoy the abundant views
of not only the Puget Sound, but also wild life that may pass by, and
also the very friendly horses that live on the property that are
occasionally let free to roam and graze on the front lawn.
Carrots are
provided if you would like to visit them, and get up close, and
personal.

The “Cottage Guest House” vacation home (right) has a view
of the horse’s pasture from the kitchen window. It is without the
water view, although it is just a very short walk to the front lawn
down to the Cliffside where you can sit at the table or benches, and
enjoy the beauty of the waterway with everything from fishing boats,
tug boats, freighters, ferries, and sail boats. Colvos Passage
(“West Pass” as known to us old timers) always has abundance of
activity.
The evenings at this vacation home rental provide a romantic setting with the
twinkling lights from Tacoma as they dance across the water, the
Vashon ferry crossing Commencement Bay, and the light show from the
planes landing and taking off in the distance, as they follow their
flight plan over the Cascades and down Puget Sound.
Although I am pretty busy these days, you may still
get the chance to hear an old fish tale or two. If I can ever
