Vacation Rental Surrounded By Forest

Seacliff Guest House & View Suite, Gig Harbor, WashingtonThe Seacliff Guest House property is surrounded by forest for a quiet and peaceful setting, only to hear the sounds of nature and the wind in the trees.  A rare gem of a vacation rental property that is close to town, but far from the hustle bustle of everyday urban life.

Enjoy the quiet and beautiful views of Puget Sound and Mt Rainer in your private first floor suite, or sit by the fire pit on a lawn chair overlooking Commencement Bay.  At night the city lights of Tacoma dance across the water into your bedroom.  Surrounded by forest, there are no neighbors, or rooftops to block your view.  Sunrise Beach Park is just a short 2 minute drive, or 15 minute walk from the property.

We are located just a short 5 minutes from the downtown Gig Harbor waterfront, where there are several shops, art galleries, and a variety of fine restaurants available.

The living room and kitchen of the “View Suite” vacation home have large picture windows to enjoy the abundant views of not only the Puget Sound, but also wild life that may pass by, and also the very friendly horses that live on the property that are occasionally let free to roam and graze on the front lawn.

Carrots are provided if you would like to visit them, and get up close, and personal.

Breathtaking View

Pictures don't do it justice, and words can't describe how beautiful and peaceful it is at Seacliff Guest House...

We came to Washington to visit our son who is in the military.... We had a few days together, and the moments made for great memories...  Sitting by the fire pit, enjoying the crisp clean air, looking at the beauty all around was priceless. Hannah's visits (the dog) made it feel like home... :)

Gig Harbor was just what the Dr. ordered... quaint, quiet and picturesque...

Romantic Gig Harbor Vacation Home

It is just a very short walk down the front lawn to the cliffside where you can sit at the table or benches, and enjoy the beauty of the waterway.  Colvos Passage (“West Pass” as known to us old timers) always has abundance of activity.  You may experience anything from fishing boats, tug boats, freighters, ferries and sailboats. If its your lucky day you might even spot a pod of Orca whales passing through.

The evenings at this vacation home rental provide a romantic setting with the twinkling lights from Tacoma as they dance across the water, the Vashon ferry crossing Commencement Bay, and the light show from the planes landing and taking off in the distance, as they follow their flight plan over the Cascades and down Puget Sound.

You may even get the chance to hear an old fish tale or two, from your host and owner, Debbie Ross.  With just a 3 minute drive, or a 20 minute walk, you can be beach combing at Gig Harbor's Sunrise Beach Park.

Debra Ross and her horse TanaAs the builder, and owner of this vacation rental house for over 30 years, and a fourth generation retired fisherman, the décor inside reveals that maritime feeling.

Thank you for considering “The Seacliff Guest House” for your next Gig Harbor visit.
